The former Vice President and the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Atiku Abubakar on Monday received about 1640 decampees in Adamawa State which included two members of the State House of Assembly.
Speaking at the occasion in a mini rally in Yola, Atiku thanked the people of Adamawa for always standing for him in the past 30 years of his political life.
According to him, the people of Adamawa have invested in him so much and he too would now invest in them.
The Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri while speaking said he has performed creditably above the expectations of the people.
He called on Adamawa State electorates to vote for him again so that he would consolidate the gains of his achievements in Adamawa State.
The National Chairman of the party, Dr Iyorchia Ayu also directed all PDP grievances to resolve and come together so that the party can win the Presidency in 2023.
