The Ophans Care Committee of Jama’atu Izalatil Bid’ah Wa’ikamatis Sunnah, Adamawa state chapter has distributed Sallah baskets to more than more than two thousand orphans in the state.
Speaking during the distribution ceremony which held at the Federal College of Education FCE Yola, the state chairman of JIBWIS Orphan Care committee, Doctor Bashir Imam Ali said the two thousand and five hundred benefiting orphans were selected based on transparency.
He advised caregivers of orphans not to temper with the items saying it is prohibited in Islam to do so.
Doctor Imam Ali expressed appreciation to the national chairman of JIBWIS, Sheikh Abdullahi Bala Lau for supporting the Orphan Care Committee and prayed Almighty Allah to reward him abundantly.
Items distributed to the orphans include, rippers rice among others.
