VIDEO: Ramadan Lecture: Cleric urge Muslims to earn Allah’s blessing

An Islamic Cleric has called on Muslims in the country to put their trust in Allah and continue to pray for the return of peace and economic prosperity in the country.

In his speech, the Amir of the Centre for Islamic Thought, CIT centre in Adamawa state, Dr Usman Ahmad Dadah said as a faith-based organization it engages in activities such as Hajj operations, Ramadan lectures, Special classes for revertees to Islam, support for the poor, the weak, and the less privileged in the society.

The Adamawa State Head of Service, Pharmacist Shehu Isa Ardo lauded the Centre for Islamic Thought, CIT for its activities aimed at promoting peace, enlightenment, understanding, tolerance, and unity in the society.

The Head of service is the chairman of the annual Ramadan lecture organized by the centre. The event was held at Federal College of Education, Yola. The Head of service noted that such activities had strengthened the brotherhood among Muslims.

In his message, Lamido Adamawa Doctor Barkindo Aliyu Musdafa represented by District Head Nasarawa Abba, Barrister Abubakar Aliyu Musdafa commended the Center for Islamic thought.

The Guest Lecturer, Doctor Abdulraham Nasir, spoke extensively on the need for Muslims to be steadfast in all their dealings to reap bountiful rewards from Allah in this month of Ramadan.

There were goodwill messages from the various Clerics.
