Sanwo-Olu Chase Okada Into Army Barracks

Dateline Tuesday, June 28, 2023. Along the ever busy Ozumba Mbadiwe Road in Victoria Island, Lagos.
Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and his convoy chased some motorcycle Riders, commonly called Okada into the army barracks on ozumba. The Riders tried to seek refuge in the Baracks but the governor and his security team persisted until the Okadas were seized.
The governor’s team was challenged by the soldiers as the engaged in a shouting match.
According to an eyewitness,
Sanwo-Olu ordered the arrest of a Military Officer who was riding a Motorcycle against traffic.
The military personnel was trying to resist arrest without wearing a military uniform.
It was gathered that he wasn’t wearing his military uniform. He was also said to be fighting the government security with his military colleagues until the governor alighted from his convoy before he could surrender himself for arrest by force.
A ban on activities of Okada has been in place since June 1. The ban covered some selected areas in Lagos.
