The professional calling of Photography in Nigeria is one with bright prospects.

With the boom in the creative industry, coupled with an increasing demand for photographers, more people are becoming professionals despite the challenges with protection of intellectual property.

One role of a photographer is that of a social enabler in the transformation of the society. Mentoring upcoming photographers is another major role.

To this end, Photography trio of Emmanuel Oyeleke, Aham Ibeleme, and Yagazie Eguare have teamed up to mark a decade of growth, transformation and impact in the photography industry with the Project X initiative.

Photography exhibitions, masterclasses, one-on-one mentorship sessions and workshops by the three creatives are geared towards inspiring and elevating the minds of the next generation of photographers.

For them, arts is more than just a form of career; it has deep social and economic value for the country and the capacity to become a major channel for economic diversification.

The trio have had quite a journey since their paths crossed in 2012 at The Future Enterprise Support Scheme.

Now, it’s time to give back through shared experiences, structured training, and mentorship.
