Court Reinstates Adamawa APC Chairman Ibrahim Bilal

A high court in Yola, Adamawa State has reinstated Ibrahim Bilal as the state chairman of All Progressives Congress, APC.

The court stopped Hon Ismaila Tadawu from further parading himself as chairman.

Mr Ismaila Tawadu was installed as chairman on Monday after the purported removal of Billal by the members of the party’s State working Committee.

Justice Musa Usman issued the order of interim injunctions on Thursday pending the hearing and of the motion of notice after a case filed by the embattled chairman Ibrahim Bilal.

Mr Ibrahim Bilal had approached the court, challeging his removal by members of the State working Committee of the party.

The order of the interim injunction restrained all parties by themselves, their servants, agents, privies or any other persons from taking any step further in removing the plaintiff from office.

The order, granted by Justice Musa was brought under 10 rule 7 of the Adamawa High Court.

The case stands adjourned till 14th September, 2022 for hearing on the motion on notice.
