The European Union (EU) says it will continue to support Tinubu policies and programs
The European Union (EU) says it will continue to support Nigeria’s development policies and programs.
Rita Laranjinha, the Managing Director of the External Action Service of the EU made this commitment during a meeting with Vice President Kashim Shettima at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The VP, while welcoming the team said Nigeria will remain open to interventions that work.
He maintained that the Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government remains a breath of fresh air.
Shettima expressed concerns about migration issues and called on the EU to join hands with Nigeria to create jobs in the digital world.
Laranjinha who led the EU delegation, said she was in the country ahead of the Ministerial Dialogue with Nigerian officials billed to take place on October 19.
She said the EU delegation is committed to working closely with Nigeria in the different areas of trade, investments, energy, digitalization, peace and security matters.
