Labour Party presidential candidate in Nigeria’s 2023 election, Peter Obi has said that President Bola Tinubu’s lingering certificate issue with the Chicago State University has further worsened the “less than glorious image” of Nigeria, internationally.
The presidential candidate of the Labour party during the February 2023 presidential election, Peter Obi called on Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu to reveal his true identity to Nigerians and the world.
Obi made the call in a press conference on Wednesday in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital city.
Mr Obi said that Tinubu should not outsource the “sensitive” issue of his “true identity” to surrogates and media aides.
He said” He should introduce himself to the nation he governs, and to the world for avoidance of further doubt.
Mr Peter Obi asked President Bola Tinubu, to mount the stage and address Nigerians on his true identity.
He insisted that Tinubu should let the world know his name, his nationality, his place of birth, his current age, the primary and secondary schools he attended with dates, as well as the actual universities he attended and certificates he obtained.
Chicago State University had denied issuing the certificate presented to the nation’s electoral body, INEC by president Tinubu.
