Operatives of Nigeria’s National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA intercepted illicit drugs concealed in bags, clothes from suspects travelling to Saudi for Muslim Umrah. l
The Director, Media & Advocacy of the agency, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this on Sunday, April 23, 2023.
He shared videos of illicit drugs in bags and clothes.
He said “When many travelled to Saudi for Umrah to pray to their God, some actually planned to go there with drugs, knowing full well the consequence is death Even if you’re not afraid of God, aren’t you scared of losing your life? Thank God #ndlea_nigeria saved our country the odium.”
