Lagos Petrol Tanker Up In Flames

A Fire had been reported at 8pm Friday of a Tanker loaded with 60,000 liters of petrol on Apapa Oshodi Expressway, Charity Bus Stop, Oshodi, Lagos, Nigeria.

According to a statement by Mrs. Adeseye Margaret,
Director,
Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, the Isolo Fire Station of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service raised down to doused the Fire from causing a colossal damage to lives and property in the area.

However, the Tanker which was reported to have loaded at a depot in Apapa was on its way to Abuja, the Federal capital city before both front offside tyres accidentally emerged in Fire.

The damaged tyres were replaced after a favourable risk assessment conducted as the Fire Crew who remained on standby to arrest any eventuality.

A Fire had been reported at 2004 hours Friday evening of a Tanker loaded with 60,000 liters of PMS on Apapa Oshodi Expressway, Charity Bus Stop, Oshodi, Lagos.

Promptly, the Isolo Fire Station of the Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service raised down to doused the Fire from causing a colossal damage to lives and property in the area.

However, the Tanker which was reported to have loaded at a depot in Apapa was on its way to Abuja before both front offside tyres accidentally emerged in Fire that was swiftly curtailed without either injury or death.

The damaged tyres are
being replaced after a favourable risk assessment conducted as the Fire Crew and e on standby to arrest any eventuality.
