The Adamawa state chapter of Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC has passed a vote of no confidence on the Resident Electoral Commissioner in the North East Nigerian state, Barrister Yunusa Hudu ahead of the April 15 Governorship rerun election.
Addressing a press conference in Yola, the state capital, IPAC state Chairman, Bello Babajo said the REC is incompetent and already taking side with a candidate of a political party ahead of the polls.
He explained that recent allegedly inciting statements by the REC that his life is under threat is deliberate and a calculated attempt to blackmail the state Commissioner of Police.
He therefore called for his removal from the state.
