In continuation of the 2023 election review, media executives converged on the conference room of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) headquarters to review the 2023 general elections.
INEC Chairman, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu while addressing the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) said there are many positive aspects of the elections as well as challenges.
Speaking on behalf of journalists, The NUJ president, Comrade Chris Isiguzo, said the review meeting is an opportunity for improvement.
INEC repeated its commitment to welcome suggestions that will improve the future conduct of elections and electoral process in Nigeria to further deepen the Nation’s democracy.
