Yet to be identified Gunmen today Friday 21st April 2023 killed five policemen at the Okpala Junction, Ngor Okpala LGA, Imo State, South East Nigeria.
It was gathered that the policemen drove from the neighbouring Abo Mbaise police division to eat at the junction when the gunmen marked them down and opened fire at them.Â
During the attack, three cops died on the spot while the other two ran for safety into a shop. However, the gunmen followed them to the shop, killed them and the couple that owns the shop, and took away the five rifles of the security men.
In an amateur video of the incident, the slain police officers were seen lying lifeless on the floor in a pool of blood.
