As I mentioned last week, President Bola Tinubu had not filed any motion yet, despite the fake news circulating on various news blogs.

However, a motion was submitted today for intervention.

To prevent the spread of misinformation, it’s important to clarify that he is not requesting that his documents be withheld. Instead, he informed the court that the defendants, the FBI and IRS, didn’t have his interests in mind.

This is because the documents requested by the plaintiff include the intervenor’s private documents, some of which are protected by the law.

As a result, they’ve asked the court for a 30-day period to review all the files to ensure that his private and legally protected documents are not disclosed.

This is the essence of the motion filed today.

I’ll provide updates when the plaintiff files their motion to respond and the court’s subsequent actions.

DopeReporters recalls that president Bola Ahmed Tinubu has now filed an objection to the release of his files by the Federal Investigation Bureau (FBI) in the District Court for the District of Columbia in the United States.

The objection followed weeks of denial that there is an impending Freedom of Information (FOI) Act release of his FBI case files.
