The remains of the late Olubadan of Ibadanland OBA Mahood Olalekan Balogun have been committed to Mother Earth at his Ali-Iwo family compound where he was laid side by side by his forefathers at exactly 4:25 pm Friday.

The event had in Attendance Islamic Clerics, traditional leaders, prominent Sons and Daughters of Ibadanland as well as notable Nigerians from across the country.
Prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of the late monarch while the Deputy Governor of the State Bayo Lawal who represented his boss also led top government functionaries to the funeral and promised that the government was determined to immortalise the contributions of the late king to the development of Oyo State and indeed across the nation.
