Power Bikes, Dispatch Riders Not Affected By Lagos Okada Ban
Lagos State Police Commissioner, Abiodun Alabi, has said that operators of motorcycles for courier services or other private uses will not be affected by the latest okada ban.
The state government had announced restrictions on motorcycles, popularly known as okada, from operating in six local government areas of the state.
The state police boss said enforcement of the ban will be thorough.
He said most okada riders are criminals and must be taken off the road.
However, the police boss noted that banning okadas may have its side effects.
