Hilda Baci inspired many Nigerians after she embarked on a 100-hour cook-a-thon in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record.

A young Chef Dami from Ekiti took things to another level when she entered a makeshift kitchen to cook for 120 hours straight.

The Ekiti Chef became a viral sensation in June 2023 for participating in a “cook-a-thon” organised by the pastor of her church Adegoke Jeremiah, aka Billion Dollars Prophet.

That decision by Damilola Adeparusi, the Ekiti-born student of the Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) reactions from many quarters.

She even received support from Olayemi Oyebanji, the first Lady of her state.

That was when the going was sweet and good.

Now, the Nigerian cook has alleged several threats from her pastor.

Chef Dami has accused her Pastor of threatening her life.

DopeReporters gathered that Chef Dami made the allegation in an Instagram post shared on Thursday.

Yes, she accused Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah, saying should anything happen to her, the public should hold the clergyman who sponsored her cook-a-thon responsible.

Chef Dami in an earlier post on Instagram alleged that certain “people of God” are threatening her life. She has now named her pastor, Prophet Adegoke Jeremiah in a follow-up post.

The cook claimed she also received “countless insults, curses, threats and bullying” messages from some individuals she referred to as “people of God”.

Chef Dami wrote, “By the time we are done with you, you will not be able to stand on your feet again” this was from the acclaimed “people of God”.
Among many of the countless insults, curses, threats and bullying.

“Now, I understand the content of 1 Peter 4:17, Surely judgment will begin from the house of God.

“The first time the man of God tried to challenge my God he failed, then he told me to prepare for war.

“But these are the people of God, Are they not supposed to be Godly?

“Assuming I had died a few days ago; people would’ve understood better what I’ve been facing, by the testimony of those around me. But I’ll still try and bind my piece because it is a testimony that others can learn from.

“I know about gods that is why I chose the undefeatable God. Surely they shall gather, but they that be with me are more than they that be with them.

“I’ve been in constant fear for my life.

“Countless times they’ve tried to destroy me as promised, but with God, I keep moving as if nothing ever happened.

“Shouldn’t we have gotten over this?

“I mean it’s 4 months already, guess you will not stop until I stop breathing?”

In a follow-up post, she asked the public to “hold my pastor responsible in case anything happens to me.”

Chef Dami wrote, “I’ll be having an interview in Lagos soon. And I’m ready to let everything out once I get back.

“But in case anything happens to me; Adegoke Jeremiah A.K.A Billion Dollars Prophet, hold him responsible, he told me to prepare for war and we are both on it.”

Dami, however, did not share details of the nature of her misunderstanding with her pastor.

Earlier in June, Guinness World Records finally broke silence regarding Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi‘s 120-hour cook-a-thon.

The body maintained that the chef did not seek approval before beginning the cook-a-thon as there are procedures and rules which would have been sent to her to follow.

GWR said, “We have not received an application for this attempt. Applications can be made via the Guinness World Records website for our records management team to review. “Once an application is accepted, the record claimant receives a set of detailed guidelines specific to that record category that must be adhered to. “This also details a list of evidence that must be submitted for our team to verify the record. Guinness World Records maintains a rigorous review process to maintain the integrity of each Guinness World Records title.”

Chef Dammy began her cook-a-thon in Ekiti state with the intention of overtaking Hilda Baci’s 100-hour cooking record.

Chef Dammy was reportedly pushed into the cooking challenge by her pastor who wanted to make a name for the chef and his church.

While Hilda Baci’s record was certified by GWR, Dammy on the other hand got negative feedback as the body denied being aware of her mission.

Chef Dami became a viral sensation after she allegedly completed the controversial 120-hour cooking marathon in June.
