The Zonal Secretary in charge of North-East under the platform of New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) and his teaming supporters have formerly defected to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa state.
The Zonal secretary announced this during a press conference in Yola.
Liman said that he officially defected with over 400,000 out of 620,000 supporters in support of Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate and re-election of Governor Ahmadu Fintiri under the platform of PDP.
He called on other members to join the train for the development of the state and county at large.
Liman expressed confidence that if Atiku is elected to power he would build Nigeria beyond expectations.
According to him, he defected to PDP because there’s no structure in NNPP from national down to local government level among other reasons.
