Former Nigerian President Olusegun Obasanjo has commended Governor Ahmadu Finitri’s giant stride in making democracy the people’s choice.
Obasanjo stated this in Yola, Adamawa state capital during the inauguration of the first flyover and grade interchange in the northeast sub-region of Nigeria.
The former president who performed the inauguration said the essence of governance is to bring positive change to the people who are being served.
Chief Obasanjo took a reflection on his stay in Yola prison which he said” My experience in Yola made me a better person and also form part of my success story as president of Nigeria.
In his remark, the Governor of Adamawa State, Ahamdu Umaru Fintiri celebrated the return to civilian administration; a celebration of our peoples’ preference for participatory democracy over dictatorship.
The Commissioner for Works commended Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri and the company Tarctat Nig Limited for delivering quality and timely completion of the project in record time.
