Wolverhampton Wanderers secured the signings of Red Star Belgrade defender Nasser Djiga and Reims midfielder Marshall Munetsi on deadline day.
Burkina Faso international Djiga, 22, has been a key figure for Red Star Belgrade this season, making 27 appearances, including all eight games in the Champions League group stage. His defensive solidity and experience on the European stage will provide a significant boost to Wolves’ backline.
Zimbabwe international Munetsi, 28, has been an integral part of Reims’ midfield, making 19 league appearances this term. While his opportunities in the French Cup were limited to just two games, his performances in Ligue 1 have showcased his versatility and strength in the middle of the park.
Both players arrive at Molineux eager to make an impact as Wolves push forward in their campaign. Their arrivals add depth and quality to the squad, providing manager Gary O’Neil with additional options in defense and midfield.
