Manchester United’s Casemiro recently shared his thoughts on his partnership with fellow midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
Speaking about their teamwork, Casemiro said, “I have a good connection with him. When one goes forward, the other covers and vice versa.
“That is how it has to be; one complements the other.”
He added that Ugarte’s presence and talent bring respect from the entire team, noting his teammate’s strong background as a Uruguayan international and the value he brings to United’s squad depth.
Reflecting on his own form this season, Casemiro acknowledged the challenges, particularly after the Liverpool game, where the team struggled as a whole.
“The whole team was not good in that game, or this season,” he admitted.
Despite these setbacks, Casemiro remains hopeful, saying, “I think it’s been a good season for me. I want to continue growing, helping my teammates and the coach, helping Manchester United grow.”
