The World Health Organisation in collaboration with Adamawa state Ministry of Health have trained no fewer than 50 journalists and social media influencers on wholesome health reporting
The three days training placed the emphasis on need for journalists to key into early reporting of epidemic-prone diseases to compel authorities into prompt action.
Media practitioners were advised to enlighten the public beyond mere informative reporting to health behavior outcome reporting.
Some of participants in an interview commended WHO for the initiative.
