The Adamawa state governor, Ahmadu Fintiri has commended the judiciary for upholding the tenets of democracy by affirming his victory at the 2023 elections.
Governor Fintiri in a statewide broadcast on Monday said the Supreme Court verdict has brought an end to the tension in the state which he believe is premised on rumours and misinformation by the opposition party.
While thanking the people of the state for their continuous support, the governor assured that he will ensure the prosecution of the former Resident Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Ari and all those who aided him in his to bit to divert the mandate of the people.
He has, however, implored all the litigants to set aside whatever misgiving and join hands with his administration to move the state forward.
