Interim coach Ruud Van Nistelrooy was full of praise for Amad Diallo following the young winger’s electrifying performance against PAOK in the Europa League. Diallo’s standout moment came with his stunning second goal, which summed up his skill, determination, and sharpness in front of goal.

“The second goal had everything in it that is Diallo,” Van Nistelrooy commented after the match. “He fought to win the ball off the defender, then pushed through to take the shot and had the quality to bend it around the goalkeeper.”

The coach went on to highlight Diallo’s relentless dedication to improvement and growth, calling him “a great character and a hard worker.” He described how Diallo consistently seeks extra practice after training sessions, refining his finishing, crossing, and one-on-one skills. “Every day, he comes to me and wants to do extra finishing, crossing, one v ones. He is asking how he can improve his shot, and his heading.”

Van Nistelrooy expressed confidence in Diallo’s future, noting that his focus and motivation are setting him up for a successful career. “He is constantly focused on learning and getting better. He is motivated to get the most from his career,” Van Nistelrooy added.

Diallo’s ambition and attitude are clearly resonating with his coach, who sees the young player as a rising star with the potential to achieve great things.
