C Milan defender Fikayo Tomori is in talks to join Tottenham Hotspur this January.
According to Sky Sports, Tomori, who has previously played for Chelsea, is one of a number of options Spurs are considering ahead of Deadline Day.
Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou has already stated that the club are looking to sign a defender before the 11pm deadline on Monday.
Michael Bridge, speaking on the Transfer Show, said: “There have been early discussions, and we’re not yet sure if it would be a permanent deal or a loan, but Fikayo Tomori is one of a number of options Spurs are considering.
“Radu Dragusin hurt his knee on Thursday night. I don’t think Cristian Romero is anywhere near returning, and Micky van de Ven returned on Thursday, but Spurs don’t want this problem again with injuries at the back.”
Tottenham’s defence has been seriously hampered by injuries this campaign.
Dragusin became the latest player to be sidelined after limping off during the Europa League game against Elfsborg on Thursday.
