This was disclosed in a post on X by Joueurs Beninois.
Head coach Gernot Rohr has announced 26 players for Benin’s qualifiers against the Super Eagles and Libya, including the 10 players mentioned here.
The Eagles are four points ahead of Benin Republic, who are in second place with six points after four group games.
When the Cheetahs play the three-time AFCON champions, they want to repeat their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying achievement.
On matchday four of their June meeting, Benin Republic overcame a goal deficit to defeat the Eagles 2-1.
On matchday one of the AFCON qualifiers, however, the Eagles exacted revenge by defeating the opposition 3-0 in Uyo.
Ademola Lookman scored twice, and Victor Osimhen also contributed to the scoring.
From the group, two sides would advance to the AFCON in Morocco the following year.
