Newly admitted students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta, have been advised to take advantage of the federal government’s interest-free loan to enhance their academic programs.
The advice was given by the Rector of the institution, Dr. Adeoye Odedeji, during the matriculation and oath-taking ceremony for new students of the 2023/2024 academic year on Thursday in Abeokuta.
He explained that the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) remains open to new students in both the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programs.
Odedeji highlighted that the government-provided opportunity would assist students in paying their fees, enabling them to focus on their academic pursuits.
He urged the students to commit rigorously to their studies and avoid any social vices that could hinder their goals.
