Midfielder Marvin Joseph Youngman has rejoined Vipers Sports Club, the six-time StarTimes Uganda Premier League (SUPL) champions, on a two-year contract that will keep him at St. Mary’s Stadium, Kitende until January 2027.
The 26-year-old Cranes international, returning from Soltilo Bright Stars FC, was signed on the recommendation of co-coaches John ‘Ayala’ Luyinda and Fred Muhumuza.
Youngman previously enjoyed remarkable success at Vipers, playing a pivotal role in their 2022/2023 double-winning season, clinching the Uganda Premier League and Uganda Cup under coach Alex Isabirye.
During his initial spell, he made 20 league appearances, including 11 in his final season, showcasing his midfield prowess. And was also part of the team that took Vipers SC to their first ever CAF Champions League group stages.
Ironically, his path has come full circle, as he first joined Vipers from Soltilo Bright Stars in his earlier move – and now returns from the same club. Upon his return to vipers, Youngman says he could not be happier to be back at Kitende.
