A Nigerian man sparked interest as he narrated how he and his ex unknowingly slept overnight on the same bed as a lifeless body, which snored in the middle of the night.
This was shared in a post he made available on his page via a popular social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).
He mentioned that he and his ex-girlfriend once visited Kwara State, and while there, they needed a room to rest but couldn’t immediately find one.
Eventually, they found a room and discovered a person lying in the middle of the bed.
After having their shower, he mentioned that they both slept in the bed, and while the person lying there didn’t move, they could hear the person snoring in the middle of the night.
However, the next day, he mentioned that a man wanted to enter the room and, after showering, spent several minutes trying to figure out what was happening.
It was then that he discovered there had been a lifeless body in the room where he and his ex-girlfriend had slept overnight.
Additionally, when he opened the door for someone to enter, the person coming in thought it was the lifeless body that had opened the door.
He ended his statement by concluding that ghosts are real.
His statement reads:
“Ok, something like this happened to me before. My ex and I went to Kwara for our grandma’s burial.”
“We got to Kwara so late that night, and by the time we got home, everywhere was already occupied.”
“We kept searching for a room to stay in after that long journey. It’s a family house with about 12 rooms occupied, so we found one that wasn’t locked. Happily, we jumped in.”
“We saw someone lying straight in the middle of the bed.”
“So, we went in for a shower, made some ‘sum sum’ (referring to their activities), then went back to the room. We did some more ‘sum sum’.”
“Then we jokingly said, ‘Since we got here, this person hasn’t even moved.’ I tried pushing the body so my ex could sleep in front of me, but the body didn’t move, so we slept like that. Mind you, in our heads, someone was snoring (ghosts are real), so we didn’t think anything of it.”
“Then boom, at 5 AM, the undertakers were ready to come and dress grandma. As the first guy opened the door, I raised up, and this man screamed so loud, ‘OKU ti ji ooo omo!’ (The corpse has risen!).”
“The whole family house scattered; everyone picked up their pace, and about 30 people tried rushing to the door at 5 AM.”
“That was when I felt the ghost’s presence. The lady with me immediately stood up, looking back, and fainted. My legs couldn’t balance; I had to crawl and drag her out. The fear rose so badly over us. Since then, I believe ghosts are real.”
As he made this statement, many individuals who came across his post stormed the comment page to share their thoughts.
