A Spanish court has sentenced the woman who accused AC Milan left-back Theo Hernández of rape to six months in prison for false accusation and slanderous denunciation.
The incident dates back to June 2017 in Marbella, where Hernández and the model engaged in consensual sexual activity in a car. However, after the encounter, tensions arose when the woman attempted to convince the player to accompany her home, which he refused. An argument ensued involving members of Hernández’s entourage, escalating the situation.
According to the court’s findings, the woman later falsely claimed to have been sexually assaulted, seeking to “take revenge and exploit the player’s notoriety.” She alleged that Hernández had forced her into non-consensual activity and caused injuries by pushing her out of the vehicle. A subsequent investigation revealed that her injuries were self-inflicted during the argument, leading to her conviction for fabricating the allegations. This verdict brings a resolution to a case that has lingered over Hernández for years.
