Rihanna Gushes She Is So Proud of “Baby Daddy” ASAP Rocky During Stylish Date Night!
Rihanna knows A$AP Rocky is a fashion killa.
The “Needed Me” singer shared that she’s especially proud of the rapper—with whom she shares sons RZA, 2, and Riot, 16 months—when it comes to his impact on style.
“He’s always influenced the fashion game,” Rihanna told reporters at the 38th Annual Footwear News Achievement Awards Dec. 4. “He’s always had a unique sense of style that I think designers have honed in on and actually use as inspiration for collections.”
And while she’s taken note of his taste-making skills, the Fenty Beauty founder, 36, feels like A$AP has “never gotten the amount of credit that he deserves.” In fact, that’s why she was excited to celebrate him at the Shoe Oscars event, where he was honored for his recent sneaker collection with Puma.
“Being here tonight, it just feels great to see him achieve something that we always knew that he was a part of and influenced,” she explained in the interview, airing Dec. 5 on E! News. “And I’m proud to be here by his side. It’s a big deal.”
After Namibia’s clash with Cameroon ended in a 0-0 draw, head coach Collin Benjamin reflected on his team’s spirited performance with a sense of pride and pragmatism. “I think this game was not different from all the other games that we have played,” he began, highlighting his team’s consistent approach throughout the campaign. “Our intention was always to win. The intention was to qualify, but it was not to be. However, for this particular game, the morale, the energy, the discipline from my players was intact.”
The Namibian coach noted how his players’ tactical discipline made it challenging for a formidable Cameroon side to find gaps in Namibia’s defense. “I think we made it difficult for Cameroon, which is obviously a very good team, to find spaces behind us,” he explained. Despite a strong defensive focus, Namibia also managed to create a few offensive opportunities, but ultimately, the match concluded as a goalless draw. “I think it’s a deserved result for both teams,” he concluded with a tone of satisfaction, recognizing his squad’s hard work.
In a gracious post-match gesture, Benjamin congratulated Cameroon for securing their spot in the upcoming AFCON tournament, wishing them the best on their journey. His comments reflected a deep respect for the game, his players, and their opponents—closing the chapter on Namibia’s campaign with a sense of sportsmanship and hope for the future.

Speaking to www.safa.net after Banyana Banyana lost 5-0 against Denmark in a friendly, Head Coach Dr Desiree Ellis admitted being proud of her players and detailed the importance of an experience like this one.
“We had a plan and unfortunately it broke down in the second half. We did very well in the first half, our defense stayed compact, the players took the blows dealt to them by Denmark and we tried to go forward a little,” said Dr Ellis.
“The second half was rather tough for the players, and to keep up with a team ranked 12th in the world was always going to be a challenge. But I believe the players gave their all today, we made substitutions which we hoped would be effective, but the strength of the Danish showed.
“We will now go back and watch the match again, see where we faulted the most and prepare for our match against England. Remember we are on a journey to WAFCON, and we are happy that we are facing the challenges we will come across in 2025. So, these matches are to prepare our players for 2025.
“I would also like to congratulate Kholoso Biyana on her 50th cap tonight, this is a huge milestone for her, and we hope she will continue riding this journey with us.”
