The Governor of Plateau State, Caleb Mutfwang, has announced plans to establish a Ministry of Livestock Development by January 2025.

Highlighting Plateau’s unique advantages, including skilled manpower and a conducive climate, Mutfwang stated that the new ministry would be tasked with fully harnessing the sector’s potential for the state’s economic benefit.
Professor Jega, in turn, lauded the governor’s commitment to the initiative and expressed optimism about Plateau becoming a model for livestock development.
