The Lesotho Senior National Team, Likuena has touched down in Luanda, Angola ahead of their African Nations Championship (CHAN) Second round, second leg encounter against the Palancas Negras scheduled for Saturday, December 28th.
Likuena will have to dig deep on Saturday to overcome a 2-0 defeat from the first leg match match in a bid to secure their first qualification to the tournament that is eligible for only players that play their football in their countries.
The Leslie Notsi’s coached side will be boosted by the return of experienced midfielder Ts’epo Toloane, who missed the first leg match due to suspension while Moteloa Khemisi has returned home from camp after sustaining an ankle sprain injury.
Meanwhile, the Likuena medical team is sweating on the fitness of midfield maestro Lehlohonolo Fothoane after he missed the first leg match due to injury.
Since departing Durban on Sunday 22nd, Likuena have been hard at work in Johannesburg and left for Angola on Christmas Day.
