A member of the House of Representatives, Paschal Obi, who represented Ideato North and South Federal Constituency has dumped the Labour Party, LP, for the All Progressives Congress, APC.
He was welcomed back to the APC fold by the State party expanded executives led by Macdonald Ebere, having officially formalized his membership in the ward and LGA levels.
Making his speech, Obi said that he was encouraged to rejoin APC because of what he described as massive infrastructural development efforts of Hope Uzodinma.
He equally thanked the State party leadership led by Ebere, for its excellent leadership, which according to him, culminated to wonderful performances of the party at the grassroots as observed during the last LGA election.
The former lawmaker assured the executive members of the party of his continuous support and loyalty to the party.
In his response, the State Chairman of APC thanked him for deeming it necessary to return to the APC.
Many political stakeholders from Ideato South accompanied Obi to the event.
DAILY POST reports that Obi, before now, has been a member of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, later joined APC, then left for the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, joined LP and now back to APC.
