Ahmed Musa has rewarded the players of the Kano Pillars FC Under-19 team and their Mighty Jets of Jos counterparts with a donation of five hundred thousand naira each.
Shortly after Kano Pillars Under-19 defeated Mighty Jets 3-2 in the ongoing inaugural Under-19 Youth League, the Super Eagles captain made the donation.
The Sani Abacha Stadium in Kofar Mata, Kano, hosted the exciting match on Tuesday.
He was waiting for the Youth League game to end at the stadium with his Kano Pillars teammates before they started their training session.
This was a part of their preparation for their match against the Lobi Stars of Makurdi on Day 13 of the Nigeria Premier Football League.
There have already been outstanding performances in the Under-19 Youth League, a venue for identifying future players, that fit Musa’s vision for Nigerian football.
