Solana’s leading memecoin launchpad, Pump.fun, has come under intense scrutiny after a series of disturbing livestreams featuring violent, racist, and shocking content went viral on social media, prompting the platform to temporarily disable its livestream feature.
Various controversies have emerged in the past two days related to the unethical often grotesque use of the platform by various users as many point out that enforcement authorities are on the lookout to catch the culprit and if the trend continues, it may very well spell doom for the community.

Other reports included users firing guns out of windows and children threatening violence against family members.
On all this incident the platform’s pseudonymous founder, Alon, responded to the mounting criticism by acknowledging the concerns and emphasizing the company’s moderation efforts. “We have a large team of moderators working around the clock,” Alon stated, claiming that content moderation has been a priority since the platform’s inception.
Later on, the Pump.fun team had disabled live streams for an indefinite time period.

A Researcher named Melfoy shared a similar kind of incident where a high school kid about 12 years old yells on live that if the token doesn’t reach a 60K market cap he will kill his entire family with a shotgun.
A different story features a young couple who, in a shocking act, punches their 3-year-old child in the face every four minutes in exchange for reaching a market cap of $15,000 for their token. The background of the video states that if the market cap reaches $15,000, they will stop these actions.
These stories are so horrifying that showing that humans are now selling their souls to the devil. From threatening suicide to abusing a baby or having sex with an animal all this is disturbing and inhuman.
