The BCU (Bravo Cinematic Universe) was shaken on March 3, 2023, when it was confirmed that Tom and Ariana had ended their nine-year relationship amid the revelation that he’d had a seven-month affair with Raquel.
“I made mistakes, I was selfish, and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love,” the TomTom co-owner wrote in an apology on Instagram March 8. “No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly.”
He added, “My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends.”
Raquel also issued a public apology to Ariana, saying she had “no excuse” for her actions. In a follow-up statement, Raquel addressed the future of her relationship with Tom.
“I need to take care of my health, work on self-growth and take time to be ok with being alone,” Raquel told E! News in a statement. “I care for Tom, and I don’t want to label anything or predict what lies ahead. Right now, I need to heal.”
OnlyFans Influencer Lily Phillips Breaks Down in Tears After Sleeping With 100 Men in One Day
Having sex with 100 men in a single day was not what OnlyFans model Lily Phillips expected it to be.
After offering her male fans a chance to sleep with her, the 23-year-old detailed the NSFW experience in a recent documentary with YouTuber Josh Pieters. And according to Lily, the 14-hour stunt—in which she gave each man two to five minutes to do the deed—was “not for the weak.”
“If I’m honest, it was hard,” she admitted in a video published Dec. 7. “I don’t know if I’d recommend it.”
In fact, Lily had to excuse herself to cry in another room shortly after performing the feat, saying that it was “definitely” more intense than she had thought.
“It’s hard having the interactions with them,” she said through tears, explaining that she constantly felt “pressure” to give the men “a good time.”
The London-based influencer added that several men even tried “guilt-tripping” her into extending their time together.

JOSEPH OKWUOFU, Ibadan
A South West Chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party, (NNPP), Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, has charged government at all levels on the need to always protect citizens’ rights.
He gave the charge on Tuesday as the world celebrated this year’s World Human Rights Day, which usually falls on December 10, 2024.
He noted that by so doing, citizens could begin to rebuild public trust in government, foster national unity and unlock the true potential of the Nigerian people.
Ajadi, who is also known for his activism as a foremost human rights crusader, said there was no better auspicious time than the day set aside for human rights to remind the Nigerian government that protecting citizens’ rights is an essential pillar that holds democracy worldwide.
“Human Rights Day serves as a reminder of the ongoing importance of equality, justice, and dignity for all people worldwide”.
The theme for Human Rights Day 2024 is “Our Rights, Our Future, Right Now”, he highlighted the continued relevance of human rights in addressing global challenges.
In a statement he issued and personally signed on Tuesday, Ajadi said many Nigerians were suffering untold hardship and their rights were being trampled upon knowingly or unknowingly by the agents of government.
He, therefore, called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to preach to different security agents that in democracy, there should be no denial of citizens their inalienable rights.
“Let me use this occasion of International Human Rights Day to call on our President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu that as a known supporter of human rights activism in the country, he should remind various agents of governments especially the country’s security operatives that their main duty is to protect citizens’ rights and safety.
“He should let them know that anything to the contrary is not and cannot be identifiable with democracy.
“I also want to implore our human rights activists that as we celebrate today set aside for our rights, we should not also use the rights given to us to deny other people their own rights. Where one person’s right stops, that’s where another person begins”, Ajadi said in the statement.

Lady Gaga Praises Fiancé Michael Polansky for Helping Her Through an “Absolutely Horrible Time”
Lady Gaga’s got a million reasons to love her fiancé Michael Polansky.
As the Grammy winner began working on her upcoming seventh studio album, her husband-to-be made quite the grand gesture to contribute to her creative process.
“For Valentine’s Day, he said, ‘I have a surprise for you,’” she told Rolling Stone in a video published Dec. 9. “He turned his office into a music studio. I mean, it’s kind of romantic!”
The entrepreneur—who shares a co-writing credit on Gaga’s latest single, “Disease”—also showed his support through words of affirmation.
“Something that Michael said to me every day that I was working is, ‘Go do what you were born to do,’” Gaga, 38, recalled. “‘And do it with every cell in your body, and have fun and be confident in your music.’”
The couple, who confirmed their engagement over the summer, first met at a party hosted by Napster co-founder Sean Parker in 2019, and Gaga previously credited the 2020 COVID-19 lockdowns for allowing their romance to blossom.
Mozambique and Malawi played to a 1-1 draw in a tightly-contested match on the opening day of the TotalEnergies CAF Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations | COSAFA Qualifier played at the University of Johannesburg’s AW Muller Stadium, while Angola defeated Lesotho 2-1 at the same venue to go top of the group.
Both Mozambique and Malawi mostly penetrated through the flanks. Additionally, both teams’ defenders played long passes behind the defensive lines to try create scoring opportunities.
However, Malawi have only themselves to blame as they got numerous set-pieces to take the lead in the first half but they could not score. In the 45th minute in the first half, Mozambique took the lead through an unmarked Gift Chibala who scored from inside the goal area.
In search of an equalizer, Malawi players went forward in numbers but struggled to penetrate as Mozambique played deep in their half to protect their lead. Malawi’s substitute Thole Sachenja tried hard with his speed to play in tight spaces so that he could take shots at goal but Mozambique remained resolute although in some instances, they were porous.
In the last seven minute, Malawi’s Hassan Madula hit the post with his low shot. Immediately after, Malawi got a free kick but goalkeeper Carlos Antonio palmed the ball and denied them a goal. However, Malawi equalized in the 90th minute through Bena Quissime who unleashed a thunderous shot to level matters.

As the global community commemorates World Toilet Day 2024, Reckitt, makers of Harpic, has reiterated its commitment to promoting clean and hygienic toilets for all Nigerians by marking the event.
This year’s global theme, “Toilets – A Place for Peace,” which underscores the crucial role of sanitation in fostering health, dignity, and sustainable communities, was marked by a gathering of stakeholders in Lagos and Abuja.
Reckitt, in collaboration with the Lagos State Ministry of Environment and Water Resources, emphasized the urgency of addressing Nigeria’s sanitation challenges during the commemoration in Lagos.
This commitment aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 6.2, which calls for equitable access to sanitation for all by 2030. Mr. Tokunbo Wahab, Lagos State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, lauded Harpic’s contributions in the fight to preserve the environment.
According to Mr Wahab, “When sanitation services are destroyed, damaged or disrupted, untreated human waste spreads in the environment, unleashing deadly diseases such as cholera.
“The act of Open Defecation in the State from statistics is about 3% according to WASHNORM 2021 report. The Lagos State Bureau of Statistics put this figure at 8%, therefore, our gathering here today is to proffer solutions to the sanitation in the State.”
In line with the Federal Government’s target of achieving an Open Defecation Free Nigeria by 2025 as stated in the Presidential Executive Order 009 of 2019, the Lagos State Government adopted the Clean Nigeria: Use the Toilet Campaign to flag off in the State in 2021.
This Campaign has since been taken to the grassroots and has been launched in 11 Local Government Areas LGAs) in Lagos State.
At the Abuja edition of the World Toilet Day commemoration, Harpic’s efforts were further recognized. Vice President of Nigeria, Senator Kashim Shettima, ably represented, and other top dignitaries were in attendance.
Harpic has championed access to hygienic sanitation solutions at both state and federal levels. This year, Lagos and Abuja served as rallying points for intensified efforts to address Nigeria’s sanitation challenges.
Reckitt’s General Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, Akbar Ali Shah, underscored the importance of inclusive partnerships. “A clean and safe environment fosters productivity, lowers healthcare costs, and improves the quality of life,” Shah said.
“We applaud the Federal Government’s relaunch of the Clean Nigeria Strategy and reaffirm our commitment to this cause. Let’s spread the message of good sanitary practices and make our toilets places of peace. Together, we can achieve a healthier, happier nation.”
Harpic has previously refurbished and maintained over 150 public toilet units, and carries out toilet hygiene education through its Door-to-Door Program reaching over 4 million Nigerians since 2017. The aim is to accelerate the progress in making Nigeria open defecation free, paving the way for a cleaner, safer, and more peaceful country.
