Retired from the field, Franck Ribéry obtained his UEFA A coaching diploma a few weeks ago. The former French player hopes to soon pursue a career as a coach.
But this Wednesday, the former Bayern Munich player is making headlines for another reason.
Indeed, the Kaiser announced on TikTok that he would soon be going to Oran, Algeria. Ribéry, whose wife has Algerian origins, has always had a special connection with the country.
Ribéry has already visited Algeria several times, including his wife’s hometown of Tlemcen, which he describes as “unforgettable” because of the warm welcome he received there. In an interview, he said: “I love Algeria very much. Algerians love football and their country, and that’s something I admire deeply.”
