At just 17 years old, Lamine Yamal has already established himself as a key player for Barcelona, who is set for a long-term deal with the club.

Speaking at the Golden Boy Awards ceremony in Turin, agent Jorge Mendes confirmed Yamal’s intention to renew his contract with the Blaugrana.
“Of course, he’s going to renew with Barcelona. Lamine is a Barcelona fan,” Mendes said, putting an end to speculation about the youngster’s future.
Currently sidelined with an ankle sprain, Yamal is expected to be out for three to four weeks, ruling him out of Barca’s clash with Atletico Madrid this weekend.
However, Mendes reassured fans about his recovery, stating, “It’s something he will recover from, and he’ll be fine soon.”
Yamal’s existing contract, which expires in 2026, was limited to three years due to his under-18 status.
