The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF) has expressed its condolences to Governor Malam Umar Namadi and the people of Jigawa state over the heavy loss of lives and properties in the fuel tanker explosion that occurred in Majiya village on Tuesday.
In a press statement issued in Dutse and personally signed by the ACF Board of Trustees Chairman, Bashir Dalhatu, Wazirin Dutse, the forum extended its condolences to the families and relatives of the deceased.
Dalhatu also expressed sympathy for the victims currently receiving treatment in various hospitals across the country.
The Wazirin Dutse also commiserated with the Emir of Ringim, Dr. Sayyadi Mahmud, and the entire Emirate over the unfortunate incident.
Furthermore, the ACF expressed condolences to the Chairman of Taura Local Government Area and the people of Majiya Town, expressing the belief that the appropriate authorities would find out the cause of the incident in order to prevent a recurrence.
The former Minister described the incident as a monumental national tragedy and urged the families of the victims to accept it as a fateful act from the Almighty Allah.
The ACF Board of Trustees prayed that Allah Almighty grant the souls of the deceased eternal rest and give their families the fortitude to bear the loss.
The Wazirin also prayed for the quick recovery of those currently in the hospital and urged people to be safety conscious to prevent future accidents.
