Victor Collins, a defender for Nasarawa United, is focused on keeping up with the Super Eagles.
The Super Eagles have centre-back Collins in their roster for their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying matches againskt Rwanda and the Benin Republic.
Only one member of the team plays from home: the defence. He announced that he was prepared to battle for a spot on the team.
“It’s a privilege to be here. Just imagine watching players like Osimhen and Iwobi on TV in the Premier League or Turkish League, and now, I’m here in camp and meeting them to be teammates,” he told Brila FM.
” It’s a very good development for me, and I need to learn from them and also put in extra effort; if I was giving 110% before, I need to give 150% now.
” My mentality is always about winning; I don’t settle for less; by the special grace of God, I’m here to stay.”
