Sister Wives’ Meri Brown Gives Rare Update on Her and Kody Brown’s Only Child Leon Brown
Meri Brown‘s only child is doing well away from the public eye.
The Sister Wives star recently gave update on Leon Brown, who she shares with ex-husband Kody Brown, following their decision to live a private life.
“They, by their choice, have made a decision to not be super public,” Meri told People in an interview published Dec. 13. “So I don’t talk about them so much.”
Still, Leon opting for privacy from the public doesn’t mean they don’t have a relationship with Meri.
“We talk often,” the 53-year-old added. “They’re doing well.”
Leon, 29, came out as transgender in June 2022 and reportedly wed their partner Audrey Kriss that same year.
“Someone recently told me that I didn’t have to have all of my s–t figured out in order for me to share myself with the world,” Leon wrote on Instagram at the time. “So here’s me, definitely not having almost any of my s–t figured out, to let you know that I am trans. My name is Leon and my pronouns are they/them.”
Leon—who stopped appearing on Sister Wives in 2020—further explained their journey of self-acceptance and understanding while alluding to growing up in a family that was part of a Mormon fundamentalist group.
