Valencia defeated Eldense, a team in the lower league, 2-0 in the Copa del Rey round of 32 on Tuesday night, and Umar Sadiq made his debut for the team.
Sadiq, who was loaned from Real Sociedad to Valencia, entered the game in the 58th minute.
Valencia advanced to the next round thanks to goals from Diego Lopez and Sergi Canos in the first half.
In the 39th minute, Lopez made it 2-0 after Canos had scored the score nine minutes earlier.
With the victory over Eldense, Valencia snapped a five-game losing streak.
Sadiq didn’t score a goal in seven La Liga games for Sociedad before joining Valencia.
