Rachael Ray is opening up about her health.
During the debut episode of her I’ll Sleep When I’m Dead podcast, the 56-year-old admitted that she has had to take a step back from doing one of the things she loves—physical labor—due to recent falls.
“I am a homemaker. I love chores, I love being in the kitchen. I always work with my brain every day, I’m always writing something,” she told guest Jenny Mollen on the Oct. 22 episode. “But I really like chores. I like what people consider physical work. I like making dinners, planning dinners, making lists.”
Rachael’s love for tasks around the house includes carrying in the wood, which she noted she’s had to stop.
“I’ve had a couple of bad falls in the last couple of weeks,” she shared. “So, I haven’t been doing that in a while.”
The Food Network star has been open about her dedication to picking up a heavy workload.
