Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL club, Plateau United has issued a three-game ultimatum to Technical Advisor Mbwas Mangut and his coaching staff.
In a statement published on their X account on Monday, the club announced this.
The club claims that its poor performance in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) is the reason for the ultimatum.
“Plateau United FC Management issues a three-match ultimatum to Technical Advisor Mbwas Mangut and his technical staff.
“The decision followed the Culmination of a high powered meeting involving the club’s General Manager, Habila Hosea Mutla and Management Staff on Monday, February 3 in Jos, following a string of disappointing results.
“According to Mutla, it is hoped that this decision comes with the intensity needed to drive the club’s fortunes upward as well as satisfy a-result-hungry fan base.
“He added that this decision followed a careful examination of key matters leading up to the poor performance this far.
“Plateau United face Niger Tornadoes of Minna, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri and Ikorodu City of Lagos in the next three NPFL 25 games.”
In their last five games, Plateau United has only managed one victory, three draws, and one loss.
On Sunday, February 2, 2025, the Jos-based team was held to a 1-1 tie at home by Shooting Stars, and they presently sit in 15th position with 24 points in the league standings.
