After a brief injury layoff, Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen is back on the grass.
During Galatasaray’s 3-3 draw with Kasimpasa last month, the Turkish Super Lig champions suffered a muscle injury.
The highly competitive match saw the 25-year-old score twice.
However, Dries Mertens took over for the formidable striker following the interval.
The setback has prevented the former Lille player from playing in Galatasaray’s last two games.
Images of Osimhen during training were posted by Galatasaray on their X account on Saturday.
The injury also forced the forward to miss Nigeria’s 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header against Libya.
He is in course to feature in Galatasaray’s next league game against Antalyaspor after the international break.
