According to the statement, at the meeting held at the State Headquarters of the police in Ikeja, CP Ishola assured the organizers that arrangements have been perfected with sister security agencies to provide maximum security to the protesters and other Lagosians during the protest. The Police Commissioner also urged the protesters to remain peaceful and law abiding in all their actions.
The police spokesperson quoted the protest organizers as assuring that they and their followers would be peaceful and law abiding during the protests.
