Remo Stars extended their lead at the top of the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, to six points after a thrilling 3-2 comeback win over Abia Warriors.
Abia Warriors stunned the hosts with two quick goals from Ezekiel Ayodele and Ijoma Desouza.
However, Remo Stars rallied before the break, with Olamilekan Adedayo and substitute Jabbar Malik finding the net to level the score.
Ghanaian forward Franck Mawuena netted the winning goal for Remo Stars seven minutes into the second half.
Remo Stars now sit at the top of the table with 42 points from 21 games.
Shooting Stars moved into second place after a comfortable 2-0 home win against Nasarawa United.
Tijani Kabiru gave the hosts the lead after 14 minutes, while Sadiq Ibrahim doubled the advantage eight minutes from time.
At the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, Ikorodu City thrashed Kano Pillars 4-1.
Shola Adelani, Austin Uzondu, Rabiu Ali, and Marvelous Freedom got the goals for Ikorodu City, while Abba Adam netted Kano Pillars’ consolation goal.
