Solomon Kwambe has been appointed acting captain of Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), side Lobi Stars.
Kwambe’s appointment was confirmed by the club’s technical adviser, Daniel Amokachi.
The veteran defender took over the leadership role from goalkeeper Daniel Atsaka.
Kwambe will be assisted by second choice shot stopper Akor Itodo.
The Pride of Makurdi are yet to record a victory since the appointment of the former Super Eagles forward.
Amokachi has led Lobi Stars to two draws and a defeat in his three matches in charge of the club.
Lobi Stars will host Nasarawa United on Monday at the Lafia City Stadium.
