- Fulbe Northeast, a Fulani socio-cultural group has vowed to support the candidacy of Atiku Abubakar and that of Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri of Adamawa State in next year’s elections.

- The event held during a mega gathering at Mahmud Ribadu Square, Yola where thousands of Fulanis from the Northeast region attended.
- The Director Fulbe North East, Musa Ardo declared that their decision is a result of Abubakar and Governor Fintiri good political records.
- He urged the crowd to reach out to fulani communities and settlements to preach the message of Atiku and Fintiri election in the coming 2023 polls.
- According to him they have taken the former vice president and Governor Fintiri as their sole candidates and can not bargain them with any other candidates.
- Ardo further said Governor Fintiri has created enabling environment for both herding and farming to continue peacefully and ensured that Crime and Criminality never gain footage in the state.
- He urged all the fulbe North East under the banner of Pulaku to give their maximum support to Atiku Abubakar as president and Umar Fintiri as governor of Adamawa state come 2023 election.
- The endorsement was coming barely three months to the commencement of twenty twenty general elections.
